2 questions: does this charge a MacBook, or does it also need your generatr?   Also,  for a charger labeled as 16.8 vdc, 3.5A, and 100-240vac, 50-60 hz max 1.2A, charging a 14.4v lithium ion battery,  would this work?

Asked by: Kenneth
Thanks for your inquiry! The Commandr does not come with any Macbook-specific accessories or adapters.Assuming prime solar conditions, the Commandr is able to output 19V DC at up to 3A, or 12V DC at up to 3.5A. The USB port is 5V/1.5A maximum.

The product description states "Able to charge tablets, laptops, and more" yet in the Q&A, it is written that this device cannot charge a laptop directly ... this is contradictory information. Can you clarify ?

Asked by: Heinrich
Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We've corrected the out of date information on the previous question. For clarification, the Commandr XII will be able to charge select laptop brands/models and any unsupported laptops can still be used in conjunction with one of our Generatrs.

Will their be a multicam fabric option like the kickr and also I'm thinking about pairing this up with a limefuel 15000 mah. With your USB output at 1.10 amps how long would it take to charge up ?

Asked by: brunt the grunt
We hope to be able to release a Commandr with a camo option, however these plans are not yet confirmed. For a 15,000mAh battery, the charging time would be around 10-15 hours to go from 0 - 100% (depending on conditions and the battery's own efficiency).

How many of these can you chain together? Are you going to sell a combiner box?

Asked by: KillaCam
The Commandrs will not "chain" together, however, you will be able to connect up to six Commandrs to one voltage regulator (the voltage regulator will be included with the Commandr XII). There are currently no plans to sell a separate combiner box or to allow more than six Commandrs on one voltage regulator.

How many watts will this put out? Can it charge my laptop?

Asked by: Benny
Yes, the Commandr XII will be able to directly charge select laptop brands/models. For laptops not supported, the Commandr XII can still be used in conjunction with one of our Generatrs to send power to the Generatr, then discharge from the Generatr to the laptop.
